PITTSBURGH – Duquesne freshman top/tumbler Sienna Johnson has been named an Honorable Mention Freshman of the Week by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) after earning 94% of her possible points in the Dukes' win at Missouri State on Saturday.

Johnson, a Mount Airy, Md., native, competed in eight heats, scoring 71.2 out of a possible 75.85 points. She also played a key role in the team event, helping Duquesne improve to 3-0 in its inaugural season.

Johnson recorded season highs in the aerial pass (9.250/9.55), compulsory toss (9.70/10), compulsory acro (9.05/10), and six-element acro (8.10/9.25). Making her debut in the open toss, she scored a 9.05 — Duquesne's first nine-plus score in a toss event this season.

Leavy McDonald (Baylor) was named Freshman of the Week, while Angelica Martin (Oregon) also earned honorable mention recognition.

Duquesne returns to action on Monday, March 3, at Iona. The meet is set for 6 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
