Duquesne (4-5, 3-4), coming off a dramatic come-from-behind 71-69 win over Rhode Island on Wednesday, will face St. Bonaventure (7-1, 5-1) in the second meeting in nine days between the long-time rivals on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Kerr Fitness Center on the campus of La Roche University (ESPN+).
The game which was moved from March 3 on Wednesday of this week, is the fourth of five scheduled home games at La Roche - a Division III school located 10 miles from DU's downtown Pittsburgh campus - which is serving as Duquesne's temporary home while renovation work to the on-campus UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in completed.
Duquesne, which erased a 17-point first half deficit (and 15-point second half deficit) to defeat URI, is taking on a team coming off a big comeback of its own as the Bonnies trailed VCU 40-25 at the half before posting a 70-54 home win on Wednesday. SBU comes to Pittsburgh as the hottest team in the Atlantic 10, having won five in a row including a 62-48 win over Duquesne in Olean, N.Y. on Jan. 23.
