Duquesne's women's swimming team captured a 115-108 victory Saturday afternoon at La Salle. The Dukes won seven races, led by senior Melissa Johnson who won three individual races.

Johnson took first in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:30.94, first in the 200 IM in 2:09.40 and first in the 100 free in 53.20.

Also winning were junior Katrina Streiner with a 24.73 in the 50 free, freshman Kirstie Shumaker with a 2:10.93 in the 200 butterfly and freshman Briana Mangis with a 2:08.63 in the 200 backstroke. DU also won the 200 free relay in 1:40.20.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Feb. 2 as they travel to Pitt for an 11:00 am meet.
