  • Saw action in seven games, including A-10 contests at George Washington, vs. George Mason, vs. Saint Joseph's and at Fordham.

  • Played his senior high school season at Virginia Academy (Ashburn, Va.) before completing a postgraduate year at TLAP Sports Academy in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
  • Averaged 16.5 points and 3.5 assists per game in earning all-conference honors in helping Virginia Academy to a Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference (NVIAC) title in 2018-19.
  • Earned a spot on the 2018-19 NVIAC all-tournament team.
  • Was also named first team all-tournament at the M.A.I.T., More Than Basketball and Governor’s Challenge events.
  • Attended Meadowcreek (Ga.) High School as a junior where  he was part of a Class 7A state championship team.

  • Is the cousin of former DU forward Amari Kelly (UNC Wilmington) who he played with as a junior at Meadowcreek HS in 2017-18 (Cole-Williams was a junior and Kelly a senior on the state championship team).
  • Is the nephew of former LSU All-American and nine-year NFL veteran Marcus Spears. Spears is currently an analyst for ESPN.
  • His mother, Kia Cole, played at James Madison and St. John’s and later coached at George Mason.
  • His aunt, Jai Cole, played at UNC-Greensboro. Another aunt, Aiysha Smith played for St. John’s and LSU before going on to become the No. 7 overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics.
  • An uncle, Doug McLaughlin-Williams, played at Appalachian State (2005-08) before playing professionally in England.
