Richmond, Pa. – The Duquesne men's tennis team concluded its regular season on Friday afternoon, dropping a 4-2 decision to Saint Joseph's. The Dukes fell to 7-10 overall and 2-3 in conference action.

The Dukes opened the match with strong doubles play, claiming the point behind convincing wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Austin Lai and Teo Papadopoulos led the way with a 6-2 victory, while Alfrendo Vogelaar and Pierce Manning followed with a 6-3 win to give Duquesne early momentum.

In singles, Vogelaar delivered the highlight of the day for Duquesne Dukes men's tennis, bouncing back from a first-set loss to earn a dominant 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3. The Dukes also had a tight battle underway at No. 2, where Aril Kayra Tuna split the first two sets before the match went unfinished.

Despite those efforts, Saint Joseph's responded with wins across the rest of the lineup. A tightly contested first set at No. 1 went to the Hawks in a tiebreak before they pulled away in the second, while straight-set victories at Nos. 4, 5, and 6 ultimately secured the match.
