Easton, Pa. – The Duquesne University men's tennis team wrapped up its three-match road swing in dominant fashion Sunday, earning a 4-0 non-conference victory over Lafayette at Courtside Racquet Club. With the win, the Dukes improved to 4-5 overall on the season.
Duquesne set the tone early by claiming the doubles point, taking two of three matches. At No. 2 doubles, sophomores
Aril Kayra Tuna and
Enrique Lana secured a 6-3 victory. The point was clinched at No. 3, where sophomore

Alfrendo Vogelaar teamed up for a 6-4 win to give the Dukes a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
Carrying that momentum into singles, Duquesne sealed the team victory by sweeping the top three courts. Lana delivered a 6-3, 6-2 win over Ricky Espaillat at No. 1, while Tuna followed with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph against Derrin Lerner at No. 2. Vogelaar capped the afternoon at No. 3, battling to a 7-6 first-set win before closing out the match 6-0 against Nick McKenzie to complete the sweep.

Duquesne returns to action on Saturday, March 14, when it welcomes Binghamton to the Oxford Athletic Club for a non-conference match, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
