PITTSBURGH – Duquesne swimming and diving heads to the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio for the 2023 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championship this week. Competition begins on Wednesday and goes through Saturday.

The prelims and finals for each day will be live streamed and live results will be available. Tickets for each day will be available on the SPIRE website.

Duquesne was the runner-up last year with 509 points, trailing only George Washington. The Dukes have finished in the top-three as a team every year since 2015.

Senior Emma Menzer (800 free relay – gold / 400 individual medley – silver), senior Sydney Sherman (400 free relay – gold), junior Molly Brennan (400 free relay – gold), sophomore Haley Scholer (200 back – bronze) and senior Sidney O'Donnell (three-meter dive – silver) are the five returning medalists from last year.

Junior Alyssa Schonbachler, senior Elise Mozeleski, junior Regan Holstein, senior Emily Pye and graduate student Lauryn Ober each competed at the Ohio State winter Invite this past weekend, setting six new personal-bests.
