GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Haley Scholer is slated to represent Duquesne at the 2022 Toyota U.S. Open Thursday through Saturday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Scholer, who registered a third-place finish and NCAA "B" standard in the 200-yard backstroke in the A-10 Championships with a time of 1:56.71, will be competing in the 100-and 200-meter backstroke events on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

For many competitors, this will be a first opportunity to try and qualify for the 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials in Indianapolis, Ind. since the qualifying period opened in November.
