Cole McFadden begins his first season as a graduate assistant with the Duquesne women's basketball coaching staff in 2025-26.
McFadden joins the Bluff from Grove City College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2024. During his time at Grove City, he spent two seasons as a student assistant coach with the women’s basketball program. Following graduation, he returned to the Wolverines as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season, helping guide Grove City to a 16-11 overall record, including a 13-7 mark in Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play and a berth in the conference tournament semifinals.
While with the Wolverines, McFadden was heavily involved in player development, operations, and analytics. He also gained valuable experience during the summers working at the Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp, where he managed a league of 60 youth players, led multiple skill development stations, coached and officiated games.
Continuing his focus on player development, McFadden served as the director of women’s basketball for Run The Show, a basketball training company based in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. In this role, he led skill development workouts for players of all levels, from youth to professional, while also designing new programs and planning events aimed at expanding Run The Show’s presence in women’s basketball.
