Cole McFadden begins his first season as a graduate assistant with the Duquesne women's basketball coaching staff in 2025-26.
McFadden comes to the Bluff after spending four seasons with the Grove City College women’s basketball program, three as a student assistant coach and one as an assistant coach. In his lone season as an assistant coach, he helped lead the Wolverines to a 16-11 overall record, including a 13-7 mark in Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play and a berth in the conference tournament semifinals. During his time at Grove City, McFadden was heavily involved in player development, planning and leading workouts while directing offensive, defensive, and skill-building drills in practice. He also contributed to various operational tasks and was responsible for collecting in-game statistics.
Continuing his focus on player development, McFadden served as the Director of Women’s Basketball for Run The Show Basketball. In this role, he led skill development workouts for athletes at all levels, from youth to professional. He organized training groups for professional, collegiate, and high school players, while also designing new programs and planning events tailored to the needs of Run The Show's clientele.
For three consecutive summers, McFadden worked at the Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp, where he oversaw a league of 60 youth athletes and led skill development stations. He is a graduate of Grove City College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
