Working with both the men's soccer and swimming & diving programs, Ashley Interrante joined the Duquesne University sports medicine staff as an athletic trainer in January of 2024.
Prior to joining the Dukes, Interrante served as an athletic trainer at Saint Vincent College through UPMC Sports Medicine for two years, working primarily with the football, men's volleyball and baseball programs. Interrante owns a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh, which she earned in 2021, and also completed a Master of Science degree in exercise science and health promotions concentrating in injury prevention and performance enhancement from Penn West California in 2022.
Interrante is a certified athletic trainer by the Board of Certification and is also licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania by the PA State Board of Medicine. She is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Certified Speed Specialist (CSS) through the National Association of Speed and Explosion.
