Andrew Woodley joined Duquesne as an Assistant Director of Media Relations in 2021. He serves as the Dukes' primary media contact for the football, cross country, track & field, swimming & diving, rowing and lacrosse teams.

Woodley oversaw the media relations efforts for the Duquesne women's basketball, volleyball, women's soccer and tennis teams during his first year with the department. He also served as the Assistant Media Coordinator and Statistics Coordinator for the First and Second Rounds of the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament held at PPG Paints Arena.

Woodley came to Duquesne after a three-year stint as the Sports Information Director at Wheeling University (formally Wheeling Jesuit University) in West Virginia.

The Greenville, Pennsylvania native launched a complete redesign of the Wheeling athletics website and oversaw the media and operational efforts for both the 2018 and 2019 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Volleyball Tournaments during his tenure. In addition, Woodley and his staff played a key role in the operational efforts for the Mountain East Conference Basketball Tournaments played annually in downtown Wheeling at WesBanco Arena.

Woodley also spent time as the Sports Information Director at Bethany College and Salem University, both in West Virginia. Prior to that he served one year as a graduate assistant in the sports information office at California University of Pennsylvania and spent two years in Westerville, Ohio at Otterbein University as an intern.

Woodley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Cal U and earned a Master of Science in Sport Management from the university.
