Second Season at Duquesne

Jake Kretzer, a former four-year letterman for Keith Dambrot at Akron, is in his second season as a graduate assistant.

A native of Bainbridge, Ohio, Kretzter played in 129 games for the Zips from 2013-16. A 6-7 forward, Kretzer finished his career with 869 points and 213 3-pointers. The 2014 MAC Sixth Man of the Year was part of three postseason UA teams (2013 NCAA, 2014 CIT & 2016 NIT). He earned MAC All-Freshman Team honors in helping the Zips to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2013.

A two-time Academic All-MAC pick, Kretzer completed his undergraduate degree in sports management in 2016. He is pursuing a master of science degree in leadership at Duquesne.
