Laura Klimchock named Asst. Director for Student Services; Erik Kaminski Asst. Dir. of Multimedia Operations
Laura Klimchock joined the Duquesne staff in September 2013. She serves as the Assistant Director of Student Services.
Klimchock, a native of Greensburg, Pa., comes to the Bluff from Boston University where she served as Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Support Services since March. Prior to her move to Boston, she worked as a learning specialist for both the men's and women's basketball programs at Towson State and as a graduate assistant with the student-athlete services department at Akron.
A 2008 graduate of Saint Vincent College, Klimchock was a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Bearcats' basketball team. She finished her playing career as the ninth-leading scorer in school history with 1,322 points. She completed her undergraduate degree in communication/public relations and advertising in 2008 and added a master's in education/sports administration from Akron in 2011.
