After yet another win by the Dukes lacrosse team, over two-hundred student athletes amassed on Sunday to celebrate the end of the year with a BBQ on Mellon Patio. With delicious food, challenging trivia and a great turnout, even the weather could not hinder the excitement of the afternoon.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) was responsible for putting on the event and accomplished its goal of getting recognition for the program. Because of the turn-out and the excellent response from the athletes we will be sure to see more events like this one in the future. Thanks to all SAAC members, staff and athletes that were in attendance for Sunday's event.
