Biography
As a Freshman (2018-19)
- Played in 20 games - including 13 of 18 A-10 contests - off the bench.
- Came off the bench to score seven points in eight minutes vs. Saint Louis and followed that with eight points - including a pair of 3-pointers - in 16 minutes vs. VCU. He entered the SLU game with five points in his first seven games.
- Twenty-three of his 26 points came in conference play.
High School
- Averaged 21.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots per game as a senior in helping Plainfield to a 13-10 record and back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2008 and ’09.
- Shot 51 percent from the field, 75 percent from the foul line and had 16 double-doubles in his final season.
- Had 34 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks in a win over Decatur Central.
- Totaled 39 points in a victory over Westfield.
- Ranked 44th nationally among centers and in the Top 12 in the state of Indiana by 247 Sports.
- Earned a spot on the 13-man IndyStar Indiana All-Star Team.
- Was selected to the 2018 IBCA/Subway All-State “Supreme 15” Team.
- Was one of 15 selected to the ALL-USA Indy-area boys basketball Super Team.
- Played in the 30th annual North/South Indiana All-Star Classic.
- Averaged 15.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game (374 points, 189 rebounds, 33 assists, 45 blocks and 16 steals) as a junior.
- Helped lead Plainfield to a 14-10 record in 2016-17. It was the Quakers’ first double-digit win season since 2008-09.
- Earned a spot on the IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Star team and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Junior All-Star team.
- His father, John, played center at Division II Ashland in the late 1980’s. John led the Eagles in shooting percentage and total rebounds in 1986-87.
