Pittsburgh, Pa. – Duquesne University triathlon student-athletes Robyn Hunt and Mikele Jopson each earned podium finishes in major international events this spring. Hunt captured the women's overall title at the USA Triathlon Draft Legal Sprint Aquabike National Championships in Michigan, and Jopson secured a silver medal at the 2026 Asia Aquathlon Cup in Vietnam.

Hunt completed the 750-meter swim and 20-kilometer bike course in 49:05 to win the title. The event was part of a five-day USA Triathlon Multisport National Championships Festival that featured more than 900 athletes competing across a variety of multisport disciplines.

Jopson took silver in the Elite Women division at the 2026 Asia Aquathlon Cup in Vietnam, finishing in 18:28. She posted the fastest run split of the race at 9:53 to claim the runner-up finish.
