Pittsburgh, Pa. – As part of the pairings for the Atlantic 10 Conference schedule released Tuesday, the Duquesne University men's basketball team will face Dayton, Davidson, Saint Louis, St. Bonaventure and Rhode Island twice during the 2025-26 season.

It marks the third consecutive year the Dukes will face Flyers twice during the regular season, while the 2025-26 campaign also marks the 20th straight season that Duquesne and St. Bonaventure will square off in a home-and-home series during the regular season.

New to the home-and-home series in 2025-26 for the Dukes is the Billikens, Rams and Wildcats.

Duquesne and Saint Louis haven't played two games during the regular season since 2020, while Duquesne and Rhode Island will square off twice in a season for the first time since 2021. Both of the games between the Dukes and Rams in 2021, during the global pandemic, came in Pittsburgh, Pa., with the first at LaRoche University in January and the second at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, which debuted in February of that season. The last true home-and-home between URI and DU came during the 2000-01 campaign, with the Dukes winning at home, 83-69, in early January before falling in Kinston, R.I., 86-75, in the regular-season finale on the final day of February. Duquesne and Davidson play home-and-home during the regular season for the first time since meeting 10 days apart in February of 2022.

The Bonnies are the closest geographical A-10 foe for the Dukes as well as the longest running rivalry in program history. The two programs have met 137 times in a series that dates to Feb. 13, 1920, with Duquesne having won five of the last seven meetings between the two programs entering the 2025-26 season and the Bonnies leading the all-time series, 72-65.

Also as part of their 2025-26 Atlantic 10 schedule, the Dukes will host VCU, Richmond, George Washington and La Salle at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse while visiting Loyola Chicago, George Mason, Saint Joseph's and Fordham.

All 14 teams will participate in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship in Pittsburgh, Pa., at PPG Paints Arena as the conference celebrates its 50th anniversary. Five of the first six A-10 Championships were held in the Steel City, as the championship had a five-year tenure in Pittsburgh from 1978 to 1982 at the Civic Arena, affectionately known as The Igloo. The Atlantic 10 returned to the three rivers region in 2017, with Rhode Island capturing the championship at PPG Paints Arena.

Duquesne returns a pair of starters in 2025-26 under second-year head coach Dru Joyce III in redshirt senior guard Cam Crawford and junior forward Jakub Nečas. Crawford played in 29 games last season, including 22 starts, and averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest. He led the Atlantic 10 in three-point field goal percentage, converting 43.1 percent (44-for-102) of his attempts from deep.

Nečas started 21 of his 29 games for DU last year, averaging 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds while also finishing fourth for the Dukes in blocks (20) while adding 23 steals. He scored in double figures on five occasions, with Duquesne 4-1 (.800) in those contests, and in his final game of the year against St. Bonaventure in the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship scored nine points while setting a career high with 10 rebounds.
