NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Sophomore swimmer Haley Scholer was named the Atlantic 10 swimming and diving women's performer of the week on Wednesday. This is her first weekly honor of the season.

Scholer dominated this past weekend, along with the rest of the Dukes, en route to a 232-65 victory over Youngstown State and a 237-58 win over Niagara.

The sophomore from Jamison, Pa. won five different events – the 400-yard medley relay, the 200 fly, the 200 free relay, the 500 free and the 400 free relay. Ten other Dukes won at least one event.

Scholer has performed well all year, even finishing 12^th in the 200m back finals at the 2022 Toyota U.S Open in December.

She is back in action on Friday as the Dukes host Buffalo.
