PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne swimming and diving team shattered six Towers Pools records on Saturday as the Dukes wrapped up day two of the final intrasquad meet of the fall semester on Saturday night.
The Dukes' record-setting performances included
Audrey Steen in the 100-yard butterfly (55.42) and 100-yard backstroke (55.17),
Emma Menzer in the 400-yard individual medley (4:21.44),
Hanna Everhart in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.32),
Madison Dickert in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.71) in addition to Duquesne's 400-yard medley relay performance by
Reagan Linkous, Dickert, Steen and Everhart.
The Dukes' 200-yard freestyle relay team of Everhart,
Sydney Sherman,
Leah Reisker and Steen won the event with a time of 1:36.14, while
Payton Rayko paced the 1,000-yard freestyle at 10:58.19.
Duquesne caps the intrasquad invitational with the final day of competition tomorrow with prelims beginning at 8:30 a.m. and finals at 4:30 p.m.
