PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne swimming and diving team began its fourth and final intrasquad meet of the fall semester on Friday night at Towers Pool.
Two records fell on Friday at the Duquesne One Team Only Invite, as sophomore
Emma Menzer set a new Towers Pool record in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:03.94 while the Dukes' 200-yard medley relay team of
Audrey Steen,
Laura Goettler,
Mara Voytek and
Hanna Everhart set a new facility mark with a time of 1:44.67 in the event.
Freshman
Molly Brennan paced the 500-yard freestyle (5:00.76) for Duquesne and
Sydney Sherman placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.23) for the Dukes.
Duquesne returns to action with the next two days of the intrasquad invitational:
Saturday: Prelims: 9:00 AM / Finals: 6:30 PM
Sunday: Prelims: 8:30 AM / Finals: 4:30 PM
