Davidson (10-14, 4-7 A-10) was led by Justine Lyon with 12 points, Hannah Early with 11 and Mackenzie Latt also with 11.
The Dukes jumped out to an early 11-0 lead - with all five started recording a field goal, holding the Wildcats scores until the 3:21 mark of the 1st quarter. Davidson would close out the quarter on a 10-2 run, making the score 13-10.
Seymour's 3-pointer opened up the 2nd quarter scoring and tied the contest at 13-13. With Duquesne leading 20-17, the Dukes went on a 19-5 run to take their largest lead of the half at 17 points, 39-22 capped by a Conor Richardson 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining. Seymour hit her second 3-pointer of the game with four seconds remaining to make the score 39-25 heading into halftime.
Robinson opened up the 3rd quarter by hitting three foul shots after being fouled followed by a 3-pointer to give the Dukes a 45-25 lead. Omogrosso's 3-pointer at 4:16 put Duquesne ahead 60-29, giving them their largest advantage of the game at 31 points.
Davidson outscored Duquesne 24-13 in the 4th quarter to cut the lead to 15 points as time expired.
"This was a good win today on the road," said head coach Dan Burt. "We are very happy with our starters and how Angela Staffileno played today. "
Staffileno finished with eight points, five rebounds and a pair of 3-pointers in 11 minutes off the bench.
"However, we squandered a 30-point lead in 4th quarter. It's difficult for reserves to come in and do what the starters do. But that is the expectation and if they want to earn more playing time, they will need to play with greater effort and make better decisions."
Davidson ended the game on a 17-5 run over the final 5:28.
The Dukes return home on Wednesday to host Rhode Island (11-10, 5-4). Duquesne defeated URI 79-70 in Kingston on Jan. 13th. Tipoff is 7:00 p.m.
