NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Anna Simone its Performer of the Week.

Simone broke her Duquesne record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.19 - .03 better than her mark last season - at the Wake Forest Open. She also earned a 1st place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.57, in a field of 40 runners.

Both times currently rank first in the A-10.

The Dukes are off this weekend, but will return to action at the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary on April 3-4.
