Results
Duquesne University women's rowing took medals in both events it rowed this weekend at the MACRA Championships in Athens, Ohio. The Dukes won gold in the Pairs and bronze in the Novice Four. It is the second-straight week the Dukes went two-for-two in winning medals in both events entered.
The duo of Jenna Vanaskie / Sara Slear won gold in the women's pairs followed by the Novice Four's bronze medal as Katie Hodnik, Andrea Altieri Joli Miracle, Sara Colley and Coxswain Laura Cherchuck crossed third.
Duquesne will close out the 2006 slate competing in these same two events at the Dad Vail Regatta May 12-13 in Philadelphia.
