MORGANTOWN, WV - The Duquesne women's track team opened the 2006-07 indoor season at the West Virginia Holiday Classic Dec. 2. The Dukes took medals in four events led by first place finishes in the 400m dash, shot put and the 4x400m relay.
Erica Moody took first in the 400m dash with a time of 59.41 followed by Kathleen Parker's second place showing (59.63). Melissa Stewart finished first in the shot put with a throw of 43'6".
Parker, Melissa Miller, Charlene Garth and Moody captured first with a time of 4:01.15 in the 4x400m relay.
Next up for the Red & Blue is the Kent State Holiday Open on Dec. 9.
