Results

Duquesne's swimming team placed fourth at Akron's 2005 SummaCare Invitational Dec. 2-4. The Dukes set three school records at the event, including yesterday's first place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Setting the mark in 3:06.15 were junior Ed Wicker, sophomore Ian Walsh, freshman Kelly McCarthy and junior Scott Darwin.

Darwin also placed first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:51.81 while Wicker won the 100-yard freestyle event with a time of 45.78.

The Dukes return to the water on Saturday, Jan. 14 as they travel to Cleveland State.
