Duquesne University freshman cross country runner Josh Eddy (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 2. It is the second conference honor of the season for him.

Eddy placed 52nd overall and second among freshmen with a time of 24:48.8 as the Dukes placed seventh of 44 teams at the Paul Short Invitational Saturday in Bethlehem, Pa.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 as they compete in the CMU Invitational at Schenley Park.
