Pittsburgh, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's track team won seven of the 20 events to finish second at the Western Pennsylvania Championship on Saturday. Senior Shea McMillan led the Dukes with first place finishes in the 100 meter dash and the triple jump and a second in the long jump. Duquesne's 164 points was just two shy of Robert Morris' 166 in the 14-team competition.

Also winning events were sophomore Tara Gerlach in the 800 meter run, senior Carrie Hucko in the 1500 meters, freshman Ashley Smith in the 400 meter hurdles, sophomore Melissa Stewart in the shot put and the 4x400 meter relay team.

Next up for the Dukes is the University of Virginia Invitational on Saturday, April 10th in Charlottesville, Va.
