Richmond, Virginia - Duquesne University's women's outdoor track and field teams more than doubled their first round scores in the second day of the Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Sports Backers Stadium in the city of Richmond as they team finished in fourth place of nine teams. The women put up a score of 97 after tallying a first day's mark of 48.
Junior Nicole Wiley (New Castle, Del. / Padua Academy), who had put in the third best time in the preliminaries of the 100 meter high hurdles, took the silver in Sunday's finals with a time of 14.42 seconds, a new Duquesne record. She broke her own mark of 14.54 seconds set last month at the Univeristy of Virginia's Lou Onesty / Milton G. Abramson Invitational.
