Bethanie Moreschi Named to La Roche Athletics Hall of Fame

PITTSBURGH -- Duquesne women's soccer assistant coach Bethanie Moreschi has been named to the La Roche Athletics Hall of Fame. She was one of seven new inductees.

"Everyone associated with Duquesne women's soccer is so proud and excited to see Bethanie inducted into the La Roche Athletics Hall of Fame," said Duquesne head coach Al Alvine. "She's been an important, valued and respected part of our program since the minute she stepped foot on our campus. We all congratulate her and her family on this amazing honor and look forward to more achievements as she continues her coaching career."

Moreschi played on the La Roche women's soccer team from 2009-13 and ranks second in program history with 68 career goals. Her 163 career points are also the third-most by a La Roche player.

The Pittsburgh native scored 23 goals in a season for the Redhawks, which is still the second-most in program history. Some of her other accomplishments include being named the 2012 AMCC Offensive Player of the Year, receiving two AMCC All-Conference First-Team honors (2010, 2012) and two AMCC All-Conference Second-Team honors (2009, 2011).

Moreschi is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Dukes.
