ORLANDO, Fla. - Duquesne won the doubles point, but Dayton won four straight singles matches to eliminate the Dukes from the A-10 Championship by the score of 4-1.
Dayton got a leg up in doubles by taking the #1 spot 6-2. However, Tim Kane and Jared Isaacs got the Dukes back in by winning 6-3 at #3. It came down to #2, where Adam Blasinsky and Drew Akins held off a tough Flyers team to win in a breaker 7-6.
However, the Dukes could not capitalize on the momentum and dropped four singles matches.
