The Duquesne football team will hold its final practice of the spring on Saturday at Rooney Field. The event, which will feature a 30 minute scrimmage, is open to the public.

The Dukes will take the field for pregame at 4:00 p.m. and will will perform warm-up drills until 4:40.

The Dukes will then begin a series of scrimmage situations beginning with one-on-one drills at 4:45. Red Zone situations featuring the first offense vs. the first defense followed by the second offense vs. the second defense will follow at 4:55. 7-on-7 passing drills will start at 5:05 followed by point after and field goal drills at 5:15. The situation portion of the practice will conclude with 2-minute drills starting at 5:20.

There will be a 12-minute halftime that will feature a "Float on Flem" balloon release celebrating the memory of Ryan Flemming and Chris Johnson as well as a presentation of jerseys to the senior class.

The afternoon will conclude with a 30 minute scrimmage with a running game clock.

Alex Panormios will handle the play-by-play and Tad Maurey will provide the color for live audio coverage provided by RedZoneMedia.com beginning at 4:00. Alex and Tad will be joined by head coach Jerry Schmitt during the scrimmage.
