MONROEVILLE - The Duquesne women's soccer team, along with the Norwin and Century V soccer clubs, will host the 3rd annual TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) Day, which is an event that help special needs athletes. The event will be March 28th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the The Club Sport and Health (formerly Club 4 Life) in Monroeville.
The TOPSoccer program is part of the United States Youth Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer organization in the country. The hour-and-a-half session will be packed with fun activities and small-sided games.
TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. The goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
