Love Named A-10 Co-Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS - For the third time in four weeks, a Duquesne volleyball has been named player of the week. Arielle Love was named co-player of the week along with George Washington's Chidima Osuchukwu.

Love, who was the A-10 POW on Oct. 6th, led the Dukes to a pair of wins over George Mason (3-0) and GW (3-2), helping Duquesne moving into a 5-way tie for second place in the league standings.

The senior middle hitter recorded a match-high 12 kills and hit .524 with three blocks versus MASON. Love added 17 kills and hit .533 with seven blocks against the Colonials. For the week she had 29 kills (3.62/set), hit .529 and 10 blocks (1.25/set).

Lacey Levers (Oct. 20) was the other Duquesne A-10 POW winner.

The Dukes face Rhode Island on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
